Eli Garland

Who is Eli?

Eli Garland is one of the co-founders of Prydes Support, driving the organisation's vision, growth, and day-to-day operations. His passion for the disability and community services sector began during his time as a dedicated support worker. That hands-on experience gave him a deep understanding of complex psychosocial and medical disabilities, allowing him to approach his leadership role with both knowledge and empathy.

Outside of Prydes Support, Eli is committed to youth development. He volunteers with a Defence Youth Program, where he engages in a variety of adventurous activities that combine both nautical and land-based training. From waterborne exercises to mastering navigation techniques and tackling land-based challenges, Eli’s dedication to supporting young people is clear.

Adding to his vibrant personality is his sharp sense of humour. His favourite quote, taken from the iconic film The Devil Wears Prada, perfectly captures his playful spirit: "Is there a reason that my coffee isn’t here? Has he died or something?”

Eli Garland’s unwavering dedication to providing excellent care, his passion for supporting the community, and his ever-curious spirit make him an essential part of the Prydes Support leadership team.
